World of Converse.

Oh Converse, how did I live 18 years without you? There has been a converse shaped hole in my heart for many years, but now my life is fulfilled. Right. Now I've said my dramatic piece for a pair of shoes, we can get down to business. (To defeat the huns...name that film.) These have been my current obsession since buying them at the start of this year, hey, who knew you could be fashionable and comfortable? And I am all for things that help me get my step count up on my Fitbit. So this is just a little post, because I couldn't not talk about the things that are nearly permanently attached to my feet at the moment.

My typical outfit with these are some Asos jeans (Blue or Black) and a cosy jumper which equals ultimate comfort while looking effortless chic. (Hopefully) Then you look at my messy hair and any je ne sais quoi  is lost. As the Spring and summer months approach I'm planning on wearing them with some shorts or boyfriend jeans for a really casual look that keeps me cool. I rarely find a pair of sandals that don't rip my feet to pieces so the light canvas of the converse are perfect. I am hoping to make them last as long as possible because no.1 They are a little more than what I might normally spend on shoes, so I want my moneys worth and no.2 I really want them to be a complete staple in my all year round capsule wardrobe. |Could these be the shoes that gets the ball rolling on my adamant postponing of making my shoes join the world of the capsule wardrobes. I'm looking forward to showing them as a whole look for spring sometime soon. Keep an eye out. 

The only downside to these perfect editions to my capsule wardrobe is that white is a difficult colour to wear and care for as you can see from the front of them. I gave them a good wipe so any cleaning recommendations would be much appreciated. And you do have to deal with the issue of good ankles in the winter, but just make sure you've got some cosy socks waiting for you at home. I can deal with these little hiccups because I freaking love them! 

#Zafulblogseries Ultimate Summer Dress.

On to my next Zaful post! I can finally show you one of Zaful's outfits in all the summer glory that we have experienced in England recently. I haven't done a proper full fashion post in ages, so I really enjoyed doing this, especially because I can gush about this gorgeous dress!

This is one of the lovely yellow mini dresses that you can find on the Zaful website. A new colour that I've been giving a lot of thought to is yellow. I never liked yellow, I had a horrible yellow bedroom as I didn't appreciate my parents not enforcing gender stereotypes on me at the age of 5. But,  from fizzy sherbet to mustard to pastel lemon, yellow has been all over the run way and has come down to the high street and online shops showing that yellow can be worn! Who would have thought it? Maybe yellow might be a bit too much for you, so the floral pattern makes this so so summery and pretty and I had to wear it walking around these gorgeous gardens near by. I felt like I fitted in with the flowers.
And lets not forget these beautiful Zaful sunglasses. I have a guilty secret and that is that I always break sunglasses, but not these. My favourite thing is that my niece can not stop looking at them because she can see herself in them which is so funny to watch. 

It really backs up what I have said about Zaful clothing because it really is affordable fashion that redefines trends and the exceptional quality is for everyone!

The perfect Denim Jacket, Dress and Jeans!

Please let me introduce to one of my favourite websites; Zaful.  Lets get straight into something we can all relate too! And that is denim. Denim jackets, Denim dresses and Jeans!

I loved the idea of writing about something that both men and women own and love, because I think that Zaful is a website for everyone, whether you like the basics or the bizarre.  Denim has been and I think, always will be extremely popular. Trends from different come in and out but denim reamains a constant with slight changes. Changes like ripped jeans or flares everywhere in sight. You can have top denim or bottom denim or just head to toe if youre brave like Justin and Brittany. 

To find some great fashion pieces that are denim then I would go to Zaful. Denim jackets are timeless, but are also getting really unique, beacause you can personalise them any way you want and it can be one of the most comfortable and versatile items that one can wear.

Below are some of my favourites from Zaful which have their own signature look and all that can be worn with many different outfits.

The first jacket below is my all time favourite style, because it is light and the best thing to wear in summer, because you will not over heat, but when you're going into the evevings, having denim over your arms can make you feel a lot better. The worn look is also a great nod to the 1980s, so you don't have to look to put together on those long summer days. 

The middle jacket is also another great example of a jacket everyone should own, but for the Winter and Autumn (Fall in you're American) months. The lambs wool that lines the jacket is perfect keeping you toasty while the denim will look really cool with the dark Winter Colours. 

The last Denim jacket from Zaful is the bizarre I metioned earlier in the post, because WOW! It's pretty out there and I understand that it isn't for everyone, but sometimes you need to get a statement piece to finish your wardrobe. 

In my head I put together an outfit which will go so many denim outfits, but it does follow my love for the Parisian style so it is classic ad simple. On Zaful, you will find everything you want, so to go with a great denim jacket, I would add a vintage white shirt. You can not go wrong that! Trust me. 

With this look, I would add some really classic flats which are really popular at the moment, especially with the designers like Dior.

 This is just one way I would style a denim jacket, but you could also wear a high neck black top, skirt and Doc Martins for a 90s look, but the possibilities are endless.

Simple Spring Look.

Quick summery before we start; I very busy at the meomet with school, so I'm afraid that you shouldnt expect a post every week and i know its been like this for a while, but I'm finally excepting that I can't do everything, but in a few months I will be back to my weekly schedlue. 

Anyway. Spring is in full force which means warm days, cold days and very very rainy days, so you have to be prepared for anything. I put together my go early spring outfit, which I think encorporates everything you need to get through an English spring day. First of all, if I want to look cassic, but simple then I will always go for my black jeans. These are some mid-rise jeans from New Look, so hopefully they will last a long time and they fit really nicely aroud my larger legs which many women can relate too. 

As it is spring time, I think you should try to lighten up your wardrobe and this season I have been liking pink which is unusual since I'm not a typical 'girly girl', but the classic stripes and little bits of black tie in with my black jeans and shoes. I really wanted to show the fun colours in the thin spring jumper which is good in the sinshine, but not cold in the annoying wind. 

And of course a classic spring look could be without a lovely trench coat. You can wrap up warm with a scraf or let it flow around you in the sunshine. One of my favourite things is to tie the bet around my waist so I can get that hour glass figure most of us would like. And paid with some shiny loafers that I have had for years, I think this outfit comes toegther nicely and I wanted to share it with you. I have left links to the items at the bottom.

January, January, January. What shall I wear? The sparkle of Christmas is over, its colder than ever and I'm just uninspired. So I can back to the classics. I think black and white stripes are chic and classic because they always make me think of that perfect Parisian chic look that really should be worn more often. To get the Parisian look you have to relish in the basics like a white shirt, some black jeans and a Berburry like Trench coat. These things are the ultimate clothing goals to me.

Another thing I think you should add to that list is the black and white striped top because how can it look bad? How?

In this outfit I have paired this top with a denim skirt that I truly love. It is comfy and simple so I can throw it on anytime. Perfect.

How are you finding fashion in January?

This years suede skirt.

Autumn autum autum! I'm obsessed! I've spent today running around in leaves and being very childish. I'm dressing as autumnal as possible. Using colours of the leaves to plan my outfits and it also helps that my hair is dark auburn so that's pretty autumnal. 

However I am someone who gets cold easily so I layered up. With an oldy but a classic; this Primark camel coat that comes out at this time of year because it is so oversized that I can really snuggle up in it and especially with a scarf. I can cocoon myself.

Not only am I feeling good about being able to go outside in basically a blanket I'm also digging the good old suede skirt out. This is my new one for the year because the one I wore last year no longer fits, but I had to have this essential piece for my wardrobe because its so autumnal, (I'll stop saying autumnal now, I promise.) classic and just is in without being a hyped up trend that will end in two months. I've proven this by wearing it two years in a row, Maybe three actually, I cant quite remember. 

Yeah I love everything in this outfit from my Heart necklace from my best friend to my handy green bag that is big enough to fit my stuff in it, but not so big that its just annoying to carry around. However my favourite part is the plain and boring black t-shirt from Primark. It was £3 and its the perfect plainess to go with my pretty skirts. It doesn't over power the other patterns because I don't love standing out with crazy patterns.

Light and Bright in autumn.

So the days are getting shorter, its dark when I wake up and its dark when I come home at night on some days. Therefore it feel like to snuggle up in pjs and in the day time i'm wearing layers to keep warm but I've found they tend to be dark layers. But why? I can understand wearing autumnal colours like greens and reds to match the leaves but wearing black is miserable. I brought this light blue jumper from New Look during the summer because i loved the pretty colour but it was just too warm to wear so it got put in my draws (with the label. I know its bad.)

It wasn't until a friend said "Bridge, you're wearing a lot of black at the moment" They were right, so I'm trying to mix it up. Im so restless when it comes to clothes. Depending who i'm going to be see a lot of or where I will be which is understandable but I can get so incredibly fed up. Anyway I hope this light blue jumper gets me loving the bright and light colour because fashion isn't supposed to be safe because as it has been said; "Florals for spring. Ground breaking" (anyone get that reference?). 

Lets just do what we want and not just be the same every year, but I'm not saying that I'm cutting out black because I doubt that is going to happen.

So here we go. I'm going to use the word 'sexy' on my blog for the first time, because I was asked to join in the flatlay project by Adore Me, If you are unaware of Adore Me is then listen up; It is an online flexible monthly membership where you can have beautiful lingerie, exercise clothes and lounge wear delivered straight to your door.  I have to say I'm not used to talking about my underwear in such a open environment, but Ill be honest, underwear shopping is my favourite kind of shopping, so I'll put my big girl pants on (excuse the pun) and get on with it.

 I was asked to talk about my favourite piece and here it is. Adore me really cares about you feeling sexy no matter what size or shape you are which is a fantstic message to send because being in underwear can make you feel extremely vulnerable. I think we can all relate to a time where we thought "oh, I really wish my_______was bigger/smaller", but the truth is there is no perfect body so we shouldn't be trying the strive for something else when we can all look sexy just the way we are.

I have only recently gained body confidence and it was mostly achieved my changing my mind set however a little trick I use is that I wear matching underwear everyday. My friends laugh at me for doing this, but when I've got my lovely matching underwear on I can take on the world, because I look great for me. I'm not relying on compliments of others, so I can always feel sexy even on cold autumn days when its dark and miserable. I wrap up warm in dark colours (mainly jeans) but underneath I have underwear that is gorgeous, comfy and a bit flirty .

A different asethetic.

Oh my goodness, I am the worst. I'll start with the excuses blah blah blah. Life has been so busy in the last few months and I've had no routine which is a big factor in how motivated I am plus my motivation was completely destroyed due to some personal issues as well. To sum it up i had no routine and I have recently started year 13 at school so I've got a routine back but it's been busy. But I've recently realised that life is always busy so I just have to get back on the horse so to speak.

So okay, with that over I can get into this post properly. Since getting my new Doc Martens I have changed my style slightly. Instead of going for classic shapes and colour I have been branching out into a slightly 90s look. Not really sure it is but that's people have been calling it. It may be because I need to wear comfy but stylish clothes for school or maybe because we are getting into autumn so I can wear darker colours. Autumn is my absolutely favourite season because I can cover up and not be over warm. 

But I try hard not to follow the mainstream trends religiously because I don't want to look like every other person because I use to clothes to show who I am, so there is no point trying to look like some other girl who doesn't know how I feel because then how are people going to know the real me. I apologise for the wishy washy whatever ness of that but to be honest it's how I feel. 

This outfit is something I've been wearing recently; the black polo neck is lovely and simple and doesn't take away from the beautiful embroidered flower pattern on the primary skirt. One of my dear friends also has this skirt so we did the mandatory cute matching photo. I know couple goals or what?  Anyway I bought these knee high black socks from Amazon to make the outfit slightly quirky. I've only done this because I've recently come across some self confidence therefore I've been able to be more myself and not care what certain people are thinking. I've had truely awful self esteem for all my teenage years but I've been working on it so hopefully it means I can really express myself without anxiety kicking in. 

What are you looking forward to wearing during autumn? 

New Old shoes; 70s Asos shoes.

 I'm really trying to branch out in fashion. I do tend to stick to the same type of style as you know if you've seen any of my previous post, so I wanted to go for something new. I really love the 70s style from looking at people like Alexa Chung; I know that the 70s trend as been a while and I have been going along with the suede skirt that I really love, but I wanted to do more. However I get nervous that I will do something and look ridiculous as most people do at some point in their life.

When I saw these shoes I was really excited, because I knew they would be the thing to get the ball rolling. The shape of the shoes is nothing like I have ever had before and also the colour is gorgeous and really wearable. Even the heel makes me think of ABBA and Lava Lamps. The quality is just fantastic as they are from Asos. As much as I love Asos I would love if they came from a cool and hipster vintage shop on Brick Lane, but we can't have everything.

I can't wait to style these in a cool and new outfit. I think this year its all about incorporating the 70s in your style and not just trying to wear full on 70s, so I will be scrolling through Pinterest a lot. I was thinking they would look good with jeans, because getting in spring it seems more acceptable to wear opened toe shoes.

My sister and I love to adventure out and about, so we decided to do some outfit posts as I was wearing my new top from Boutique of Molly, which is perfect for spring even though it seems like spring is far away in this cold weather. 

                           

I think is outfit is very me, so I wanted to talk about it in a post. I was contacted by Boutique of Molly which is an online fashion brand that has a fab range of clothes to choose from. I bought this floral top with thin straps and a peplum design which is probably going to be my most worn item in spring. I know it's only January, but I like to think ahead. However even in January the pretty top was great with my leather jacket and favourite black jeans. 

The top is fitted in all the right places with the peplum flattering your stomach without it making it look bigger than it actually is. The pattern is so cute and flowery that it makes a simple and more mascurline outfit look pretty and feminine.

My other favourite part of the outfit is the robot bag from Accessorize. It's so funky! In 2015 my fashion resolutions were to wear more colour and to be more precise about what's in my wardrobe, but this year my plan is to have a few pieces that are really out there. The robot bag is a good example, because it makes a relatively normal outfit stand yet from the crowd.
