The perfect Denim Jacket, Dress and Jeans!

Please let me introduce to one of my favourite websites; Zaful.  Lets get straight into something we can all relate too! And that is denim. Denim jackets, Denim dresses and Jeans!

I loved the idea of writing about something that both men and women own and love, because I think that Zaful is a website for everyone, whether you like the basics or the bizarre. Zaful is your one-stop shop for fashion's most exciting and edgy apparel. The afforadable collections of clothing can meet and exceed your visions for this season and next season's trends while always maintaining an exceptional quality of design and the actual making of the pieces is fatastic, so you can always rely on your Zaful products. The whole website for Zaful is inspired by fashion forward and modern women, because it is not just about clothing, but also about collecting points so you can feel like a valid member of the community and it is about bringing your friends into the scene, so the fun never ends with Zaful fashion.
Denim has been and I think, always will be extremely popular. Trends from different come in and out but denim reamains a constant with slight changes. Changes like ripped jeans or flares everywhere in sight. You can have top denim or bottom denim or just head to toe if youre brave like Justin and Brittany.

To find some great fashion pieces that are denim then I would go to ZafulDenim jackets are timeless, but are also getting really unique, beacause you can personalise them any way you want and it can be one of the most comfortable and versatile items that one can wear.
Below are some of my favourites from Zaful which have their own signature look and all that can be worn with many different outfits.
The first jacket below is my all time favourite style, because it is light and the best thing to wear in summer, because you will not over heat, but when you're going into the evevings, having denim over your arms can make you feel a lot better. The worn look is also a great nod to the 1980s, so you don't have to look to put together on those long summer days.

The middle jacket is also another great example of a jacket everyone should own, but for the Winter and Autumn (Fall in you're American) months. The lambs wool that lines the jacket is perfect keeping you toasty while the denim will look really cool with the dark Winter Colours.

The last Denim jacket from Zaful is the bizarre I metioned earlier in the post, because WOW! It's pretty out there and I understand that it isn't for everyone, but sometimes you need to get a statement piece to finish your wardrobe.

In my head I put together an outfit which will go so many denim outfits, but it does follow my love for the Parisian style so it is classic ad simple. On Zaful, you will find everything you want, so to go with a great denim jacket, I would add a vintage white shirt. You can not go wrong that! Trust me.
With this look, I would add some really classic flats which are really popular at the moment, especially with the designers like Dior.
This is just one way I would style a denim jacket, but you could also wear a high neck black top, skirt and Doc Martins for a 90s look, but the possibilities are endless.
I hope you have enjoyed my first Zaful blog post in my series, so you can share the love.
You really should check them out and all the quirks on their website!

Follow Zaful's social media to keep up to date!

Baby Benefit.

So this isn't supposed to be a Christmas thing since that has been and gone, but I really wanted to talk about these adorable as I call them 'baby' Benefit products. I'm a little biased because Benefit is my favourite makeup brand. I think it is so fun and creative as well as providing amazing results.
I've never used any of these products before, but now I know whether I wont to purchase the full size versions.

"That Gal" and "Bad Gal" are my favourite by far. Not that I don't like the others because that is far from the truth, but I just don't wear blusher because I have very pink cheeks anyway so emphasising that is not a good look for me.
Back to the favs; I have really dull skin at the moment so That Gal is like a highlighting primer to give your skin a glow without it being shining in all the wrong places. I've been through a few mascaras over the years, but Bad Gal is amazing! It completely fans out your lashes and I've never had a mascara applicator that curls my thin straight lashes.
I hope you are having a fantastic New Year.

2016 to 2017!

This post is probably going to be like many others that bloggers right around this time.

To sum most of this year up in a word I'm going to say shit, I don't mean to offend anyone, buts that's how it is. There is no need to get into too many details but my mental health has deteriorated and I've made mistake after mistake.
HOWEVER, and I love saying that because it means I have hope. And I do. In the last month I have been trying to make improvements to myself and for once it has worked out. I have found some inspiration to do work and blog. I am putting all of this into starting 2017 because I have neglected this blog and it really hurt because it got to the point where I couldn't even enjoy my creative outlet. I am going to make a serious effort this year to make up for my neglect.

*Blushes* I have also met someone and I am currently in an amazingly happy relationship. I wish you could see me grinning ear to ear as I write that, because when you have the mental issues that I have you don't believe that you can be happy, but that has changed!
So bring on 2017!!!
I hope you have the nest new years!!

Crabtree and evelyn.

Hello, my name is Brigid and I have an addiction. My addiction is to the brand Crabtree and Evelyn. My Mum has always been a fan so products having been round our house all my life, but it is in the last couple of years that I've started paying attention to them and I'm so glad that I did.

If you don't like smelly (as in good smells) products then these are not for you, but for those of you that can appreciate a lovely scent like rose (mmmmm...rose) then these are defiantly for you. I love the hand mousterisers as I can take them anywhere with me because of there practical size, but don't be decieved because just because they are not huge doesn't mean that they don't last forever. Okay forever is an exaggeration, but a little bit really does go a long way.

The picture below showing a dot of it on my finger really is how much you need to spread across your hands which mousterisers them fully. I do have to warn you that you may look weird when you keep smelling your hands after applying one of the scents. Citron is a personal favourite of mine. I hope I've persuaded to at least look at the lovely Crabtee and Evelyn website
What do you like to carry around in your handbag?

Got the blues.

A colour that has never failed me yet is blue, I have blue eyes, it describes how I'm feeling a lot of the time and it just looks great. Blue blue blue. I just love it. Anyway you get it.
I'd been looking for some cigarette cut trousers which I found on Miss Guided. I was surprised because I rarely shop at Miss Guided, but I will defently make an effort to look there more often.
I have been wearing them a lot since I got them.

This is my favourite outfit I style with them because you can never have enough navy blue. Right? Well maybe you can so I like to break it up with a simple white shirt and my Kurt Geiger shoes.  This outfit is inspire red by my Pinterest scouting I've been doing lately. I really like the chic street style that I see on the great Pinterest, but I try to make it more me so I stuck a bit of green in there and my Amnesty International badge even if it isn't particulay fashionable.

Even though the weather can't decide what season it is, I have. I will be spring like even if it snows one weekend and then is sunny the next. I brought the milkmaid braids back for spring because I went the whole of winter so it's about time. This was the first time I'd done them in months so the braids are looking a little ruff, but that can be solved with some practice. And with the weather if it's cold then my coat can keep me warm, but if it gets sunny and can just whip my coat of and be nice and cool. Best of both worlds.

The shirt and bag is from Primark while the coat is from NewLook. I also have a necklace that was made for me which is the word 'Brigid' which I absolutely adore because I never have anything that is personalised with a name like Brigid. And having your name on your necklace is handy if anyone has to spell my name so it's good for everyone involved.

What colour do you like wearing?

Fun auntie and neice time.

New Old shoes; 70s Asos shoes.

I'm really trying to branch out in fashion. I do tend to stick to the same type of style as you know if you've seen any of my previous post, so I wanted to go for something new. I really love the 70s style from looking at people like Alexa Chung; I know that the 70s trend as been a while and I have been going along with the suede skirt that I really love, but I wanted to do more. However I get nervous that I will do something and look ridiculous as most people do at some point in their life.

When I saw these shoes I was really excited, because I knew they would be the thing to get the ball rolling. The shape of the shoes is nothing like I have ever had before and also the colour is gorgeous and really wearable. Even the heel makes me think of ABBA and Lava Lamps. The quality is just fantastic as they are from Asos. As much as I love Asos I would love if they came from a cool and hipster vintage shop on Brick Lane, but we can't have everything.

I can't wait to style these in a cool and new outfit. I think this year its all about incorporating the 70s in your style and not just trying to wear full on 70s, so I will be scrolling through Pinterest a lot. I was thinking they would look good with jeans, because getting in spring it seems more acceptable to wear opened toe shoes.

Are you trying anything a bit different for a fashion trend?

Everyday Asos.

I love to show really simple everyday outfits on here in case it strikes a little inspiration which is something I love to get when reading other blog. This is a really casual outfit that I wear all the time. Last week my outfit was mostly Primark, but this week I wanted to talk about Asos.

Asos is a big love for me even though it's online, and I usually like to shop in person where I can try things on, but Asos is an exception. Their style and range is so cool! I love looking at their shoes and basically everything else, especially because they have a 70% off sale. I talked about my trench coat in my last post and I just have a simple polo neck top on from Nobody's Child. I love everything on Nobody's child as well.

I am only 5'4 so I need my short jeans, which are not easily found in lots of shops. These jeans are comfy, affordable and short! I'm so happy that I bought them and while I was buying them I also came across a really cute headband. This is quite different for me, because I don't do a lot with my hair and this is not very subtle, so I'm quite proud that I just went for.

I've already done a post about these shoes; it was at the end of last year and I raved and raved about them, but I haven't actually done many fashion post where I'm actually wearing them. They have defiantly lasted well since I wear them so much and threw places like muddy fields. (It wasn't the best idea I've had)

Is there any shop that you love looking at?

A bright colour in a dull winter.

Since I found my perfect nude lipstick, which I talked about in this post, I wanted to branch out. My sister and I went browsing the makeup stands last year for fun. I get nervous when it comes to really bright colours, but I just went for it. My sister kindly bought it for me for Christmas. She is the best.

I now love wearing it especially to brighten these miserable gloomy days. And the consistency is so lustrous and mousterizing which is great for me, because I get really dry lips. Not only is the feel of it perfect the smell is delicious. I can't wait to wear it in spring because the pinky coral colour is so bright and cute. The shade is 14.

Because it's Yves Saint Laurent it does make it special to me and I love to take care of it. I don't have a lot of high end makeup and this is such a great place to start with this lipstick.

Sparkle in winter.

Hello, I hope you are having a lovely day. I'm uploading now, because I had some technical difficulties with a card reader, but I have now resolved the issue.
Last week I was scouring the internet as one does, because I decided I needed new shoes;  I asked my sister if I needed them and she said "you always need new sparkly shoes", so I went ahead and bought them, which is probably not true, but when I saw these I just knew that I would wear them all the time.

I was right! The black goes with everything and the style is really cute for every day and in the evening. Also, they are really comfortable which is a big plus for me as I have to do a lot of walking, so not getting blisters is a great thing. They were £25 and were completely worth it as I have worn them everyday for a week now to show that they really do go with everything.

I was afraid that the jewels on the front would not be totally secure, but the quality is unbelievable. However the fabric is satin which is not great in the rain, however they are really easy to keep clean and looking new. I would recommend these to anyone because Asos always gets it right. (You can tell I love Asos.) What are your favorite shoes?

xx

Review. Benefit's roller lash mascara.

Hello, I've done something I probably shouldn't have done. Oh well. I went shopping with my sister a few days ago for fun. It was after payday. I treally wanted to buy something nice and a little more special for myself. That sounds very selfish, but I was rewarding myself.
I've heard great things about benefit make up and as I have the porefessional primer i knew had to be a least 'alright'. I was right for once. It is fantastic.

I've been using it for a few days and I've really noticed a difference in the length of my lashes however in you're looking for major volume this is not the product for you, I think Benefit's 'they're real' is better for that. My lashes have never been amazing or thick, but this product is great for everyday and evening as it lengthens, slightly thickens and it doesn't clump up your lashes and stick them together. This my new favourite mascara and it is worth the price. (£19.50) shock horror!
What'd your favourite mascara?
Have a great week.

Autumn style.

Hello, I really love wraping up warm in autumn with cosy jumpers and scarfs and I think this look really captures this. I went to Clumber park which is owned by the national trust  and is a beautiful walk, especially in autumn. It was my nieces second birthday, so we had a picnic and a walk with ice cream in the woods. A great day was had by all.

I wore my new green, thin jumper from Primark. I wear it all the time and I have it in other colours. It is defiantly a sixth form staple.
It is £4.50, so its an absolute bargain. Is fantastic in every way apart from people start to notice. "Isn't that the jumper you wore yesterday in a different colour?"  I have it in dark green, burgundy and mustard and I'm trying to reframe myself from buying more.

The jeans are another staple of mine. There is nothing particular exciting about them, but they just go with everything in autumn and winter. They were £10 in the sale, but they are slightly too long for my little legs. The same goes for my leather jacket, but that actually fits.

I've already written about my new favourite shoes here.

I hope you're having a lovely autumn day.
