Light and Bright in autumn.

So the days are getting shorter, its dark when I wake up and its dark when I come home at night on some days. Therefore it feel like to snuggle up in pjs and in the day time i'm wearing layers to keep warm but I've found they tend to be dark layers. But why? I can understand wearing autumnal colours like greens and reds to match the leaves but wearing black is miserable. I brought this light blue jumper from New Look during the summer because i loved the pretty colour but it was just too warm to wear so it got put in my draws (with the label. I know its bad.)

It wasn't until a friend said "Bridge, you're wearing a lot of black at the moment" They were right, so I'm trying to mix it up. Im so restless when it comes to clothes. Depending who i'm going to be see a lot of or where I will be which is understandable but I can get so incredibly fed up. Anyway I hope this light blue jumper gets me loving the bright and light colour because fashion isn't supposed to be safe because as it has been said; "Florals for spring. Ground breaking" (anyone get that reference?). 

Lets just do what we want and not just be the same every year, but I'm not saying that I'm cutting out black because I doubt that is going to happen.

Suede skirt.

Hello, after my previous post that went on forever I thought I should go back to a fashion type post. I have just been to France on a long weekend where it was very hot. (Got up to 39 degrees at one point. That was too hot) I am starting sixth form in a couple of days, so I've been buying s few pieces that will take me into autumn. 

A bought this suede skirt from New Look for £14.99 here. I went for a wonder with my sister and niece which was a perfect opportunity for photos. This outfit is defiantly going to be a good one for sixthform as I can make it warmer with more layers and just keep it like that for warm days. In my sixth you don't have to wear business dress which is good, because you can be more independent with your style. (Within limits) The shirt is from Primark and has been on this blog a few times before. the burgundy shoes are also from Primark.

I'm sorry that the posts have been infrequent to say the least. They will defiantly be on every Saturday from now on since I am no longer on holiday.

The brown skirt.

Hello. I always like finding a piece of clothing that not only goes with lots of different outfits but is also not expensive. As i am only a teenager I can't buy everything that I want to own so I have to be careful when I shop. I think it is much better to get one thing that goes with nearly everything then lots of other things that do not go together.I came across this brown skirt in Jane Norman in Ireland (The sales were on) and fell in love it. I knew I could put with a lot of my tops and the coat I wear most. It may not be everyone taste and even though i don't really follow trends, it reminds me of this spring's seventies look. I think it is the brown that makes me think of that trend.

I can dress this skirt up with boots from office or wear it casually with ballet pumps from Primark.

Easter OOTD.

Hello, even though I usually only write posts for my blog on a Saturday, I thought, because it is a special occasion i would do another one. I am Catholic and go to church every Sunday. I have been a catholic all my life so when it comes to Easter my family and I celebrate it not just because we love chocolate but because of our beliefs. I know lots of people just like the choclate and that's fine but because we celebrate the traditional meaning behind Easter (the Jesus part) I like to wear something nice. 

I bought this blue shirt recently from Primark and I love it because it does not have a proper colar therfore I don't risk looking school like. My jeans are from Newlook and the shoes are my new favourite. They were £12 from Primark which is fantastic and they will look great in lots of outfits because they are white. I wear this coat all the time because of the colour and cut but a good coat is a good investment. And I hope you like the rabbit ears I borrowed from little niece for fun.

I think this is the end of my monochrome outfits intill next winter as the sun is now out with the beautiful flowers on a daily basis. Hello spring.
